Morphology in the Primary Grades (Thanks Thinkfinity, IRA and NCTE)

Browsing through Thinkfinity this morning, I came across these lessons from NCTE/IRA including one titled titled, “Rooting out Meaning: Morpheme Match-Ups in the Primary Grades.” I’ve posted about Thinkfinity in the past, but for those of you that want a bit of background…Thinkfinity provides free content and PD for educators across the globe. It is sponsored by the Verizon Foundation’s Literacy, Education and Technology Initiative. I like Thinkfinity’s online portal because it provides tailored content for educators, students, parents and after school programs. Here are some parent literacy resources.
