Colorin Colorado is a great resource for educators and families of English language learners. Of particular interest are their Reading Tip Sheets for parents available in 11 different languages for Pre K- Grade 3.

this is a most interesting post; I am in the Southwest and will be adding this link to our parent & teacher resources pages on both my personal blog and my Barefoot Books SW Co-Op sites. We are always looking for great parent resources for literscy and I often come across great ones here on your blog ( and I always refer back to your site) although I don’t know how to link to other’s posts as I am new to blogging. thank you for finding so many great tips for parents & teachers.
